Monsters Within: LIVE on the Plaza

ART, PLAZA DISTRICT, VideosDusty GilpinComment

The last art show we hosted was one of my favorites. We've had some tremendous artists in the past, but few have invested as much work into their shows as Edgardo George and Lance King invested in this last art exhibition. Flanked with artwork by the extremely talented Eric Sandhop and Cory Hancock, the show featured a complete restock of arists stickers in our sticker machine, fog and decorations, costumes, and an amazing "manimation" premiere.

If you didn't make it to the show, here's Spooky Boulevard for your enjoyment:

The weather was perfect, and as usual with good weather LIVE's, the streets were packed. People were wearing costumes, enjoying art, and breathing the fresh air of culture and creativity. Our artists came dressed as Andy Warhol and...well, one of the T&L guys.

Our sticker machine will feature some awesome stickers by Edgardo and Lance for the rest of the month. Don't sleep on getting some really unique, hand illustrated stickers!

Our van got a new paint job by our friend Devon who did a killer job!

Eric Sandhop created some amazing coloring books. Kids were coloring all over, we even got to keep a few for our refrigerator!

Not only for kids, the coloring books had even established artists gawking!

Before the show even started, a gentleman walked into the store and purchased a piece of art by Edgardo George. He exclaimed, "He drew a picture of my car!" Edgardo drew up his own halloween coffin car and ironically enough it appeared from his imagintaion and visited the Plaza!

The animation was a huge hit. We premiered the video every 30 minutes between 8-11pm. At each showing the video recieved a booming applause. We're very lucky to have such talented artsists join us every week for Drink & Draw.
