Still going strong with 24 contestants! I'm shocked a lot of you have made it passed the hump. Here's this weeks photos, the contestants are getting quite familiar with the camera. After seeing JD Epperson in an American flag speedo last week, I really can't expect any surprises anymore...
Tyler Ridlen
An acute observation in Tyler's last email, "I thought as the weeks would go by, my mustache would be less and less embarrassing....it hasn't"

Robert Malmstrom
Robert is writing a book on beard poems and quotations, "Just as my father gave me this beard, his father gave him his." I like that Tree & Leaf hoody in the background!

Matt Byers
A blue shirt for every day of the week, or maybe just every Thursday of the week...

Kyle Vincent
I bet all of you guys are really great and interesting and whatever, but I bet Kyle Vincent is greater and more interesting.

JohnPaul Widener
JP's email read, "Here's is my weekly beard pic. Nothing special this week."
Hey man, don't get so down. You're a great guy, and really interesting. I understand it must be hard living in the shadow of Kyle Vincent, but that's one helluva beard. Keep your chin up, every day is a special gift.

Jim Pierce
I'd like to imagine that this photo was taken while Jim was doing 110, running from the police, and dodging a hail of gunfire. Jim Pierce is extreme.

JD Epperson
Happy Halloweens. What's weird is the other half of his costume was that American flag speedo.

Greg Gilpin
Last week I let you know that Gilpin senior was a graphic designer. In the holiday months Mr. Gilpin is also Mr. Claus, if you need to book a Santa for any occasion this year, give him a shout soon he books up pretty quick (405) 842 -0810. You may recognize him for our company Christmas card last year.

Dru Monk
I can't quite judge the progess of this fella. I need less backlight so we can get some definition on those folicles.

Clinton "Red Beard" Trench
Red Beard's serious face, beards are nothing to joke about.

Chris "DEXTER" Farris
Wait, where did that beard come from? I've been distracted by the Texas sportswear and didn't notice that we have a sleeper in the competition!

Caleb Stevenson
Caleb just watched The Sound of Music anniversary box set that's in the background.

Caleb and Lucian "The Fury" Lack
Caleb reports that The Fury shaved his beard this week and said, "I can outbeard any of those wimps in only a month." Caleb has a sneaking suspicion that he is one of the wimps The Fury was talking about. It's troubling to see a house divided by its beards, get that kid in check Caleb!

Bryan Mathews
An OlDirtyPumpkin and an @OlDirtyMath

Brian Pelts
Excellent bearding Mr. Pelts.

Brandon Shores
Puppy dog eyes will help win the competition.

Andy "Don't Sink My" Boatman
I don't know what Andy is loading in that pipe, but it's definitely helping that beard grow. "Feeling the need for some 'JustForMen.' Not as grey as Papa Gilpin, but a close second."

Luke Stephens
Before and After pictures. Luke's girl gave him an altimatum and the neck beard lost.

Kenneth White
"My picture this week was inspired by JD, he's not the only patriot in this competition. I'd also like to thank this competition for allowing me to live out a beard modeling fantasy that I've always had via MANifesto."

Kenny is talking about the event that will be on Oct. 15th. Live beard models and all sorts of cool stuff. Here's the flier with all the deets for your tweets:

Tom "Le Tigre" Paradiso
Enjoy your trip Le Tigre! We look forward to your picture from Mexico next week.

Dusty Gilpin
Can you see my brain?

Tony "T-Storm" Boersma
Proud of his bearding.

John "Sniplash" Metcalf
John hasn't trimmed his beard yet just FYI. This amazingly enough is how it grows naturally.

Craig Delano
Word on the street is that Criag loves Halloween way more than any other man. Craig had a Halloween inspired wedding, and allegedly some awesome halloween decor at his house each year.

Put in 8 days worth of growth this next week fellas.
