We had an awesome turnout on Saturday night. A TON of work went into it, and I know that John and I are still tired from the event. We're pressing on though and still super busy at the shop. Thank you to everyone that came out, we heard nothing but good things about the event and space and we are so thankful to everyone who blogged, tweeted, or posted about the event. The worth of word of mouth is priceless, and our customers are great at grassroots advertising.
Also a big THANK YOU to our volunteers: Phil Pizzi, Avery Wilson, Logan Borher, Kristen Vails, Jerrod Smith, Greg & Terri Gilpin, and Phil & Angie Milner.
THANK YOU to those who participated and supported: Odelay Taco Truck, Coop Beer, The OK Gazette, and Richie Bean Coffee Catering.
THANK YOU to those who took photos of the event: Nathan Poppe, Vernon Deas (GRPFLY), PJ Tolar (SoFocusPhotography), and Bethany Young (TwentySomethingMagazine)
A HUGE THANKS to our employees that crushed out about 400 free shirts: Tanner Frady, and John Metcalf.
And THANK YOU to our intern Taylor Felgenhauer who manned the register and recruited her own friends to help out!

And some cool pictures I snagged throughout the business:
The line before the opening that wrapped around the building!

Minutes after opening the doors.

Bigfoot and the guys from WOMB Gallery were in the house:

Check out SoFocusPhotography and GRP*FLY for more pictures of the event.
THANK YOU all for making this a great and memorable event.
As Vernon Deas put it, "The Tree is Still Growing."
Woot! Glad it was a success!
