Last Sunday night we kicked off our summer series with performances by Rousey and The Nghiems. They put on great, upbeat shows, and the event made for a great way to cap off a weekend of partying. Thanks to both bands for coming out. This is like an acceptance speech, but I also want to thank Anthem Brewing – shout out for providing crisp, refreshing sponsorship. And last but not least, to BurnTapes and 46 RPMs, thanks for helping us put this whole thing together.
If you didn't make it out, first of all, what a chump. And second of all, drop everything, relax your mind, take a few rhythmic breaths, and reschedule your entire life around August 11th for Bowlsey and the Sativa Prophets.
Anyway, here's what you missed:
We honestly didn't get enough great shots. We partied too hard. There's no photo evidence, but everyone in Rousey was really handsome too – go see them, don't just take my word for it. Anyway, it's a good thing we're doing this whole thing all over again. Drop in Aug 11th for Bowlsey and the Sativa Prophets. Bring your camera. Bring a friend. Grab a cassette in-store. Until then, PEACE
