Tomorrow is our second LIVE on the Plaza at our new space! The first LIVE was our grand opening, and now that we're officially in the space, we're excited to host our friend, Alesa Clymer, as the guest artist for this month. Screen printing art posters is one of our huge passions at Tree & Leaf. We love collaborating with local artists and using the timeless traidition of screen printing to replicate a piece of their work. When printing, it's hard to tell if the product is going to look good until the final color layer is laid on top of the image. I was really nervous with printing Alesa's work because it is so beautiful and so extremely detailed. When the final outline layer was added, my stresses were relieved! This is definitely the most detailed print we've created, and we are extremely proud to host Alesa and her wonderful works at our store tomorrow!
The show will begin at 7:00pm and last until 11:ish. We'll have her works, some drinks, and some fun festivities happening in our backyard. I'm going to set up an 8x8 panel for live art and we'll grill some hot dogs! Come out for a beautiful evening on the Plaza, and make sure to grab one of Alesa's prints. The edition is of only 25, so get 'em while they're hot!
