General Terms and Conditions

Thank you for contacting Tree and Leaf Clothing for your screen printing needs.  We look forward to producing apparel for you and want to provide you with a brief overview of how our print shop operates and our General Terms and Conditions.  All custom screen printed apparel will go through 2 processes in our shop, Artwork and Printing.

Printing

Once your artwork is approved or submitted art is ‘screen printing ready’, your job will be ready to go to the print shop.  This process can take up to 2 weeks in order for us to get your requested apparel in from our suppliers and screen printed in our shop, either manually or on our automatic press, depending on the size of the job.

We will e-mail you once your order is through the Artwork process when it is scheduled to print and when you can expect to pick it up.  Should you have any problems with the date given, please contact us immediately so we can work towards a solution.

When your order is completed we will call/e-mail you to let you know your order can be picked up.

Payment

All orders are to be paid in full upon pickup unless terms have been agreed upon at the time the order was placed.  Terms will extend payment to NET 15 days.  Payment can be made with cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express).  Orders paid with credit card over $500 will incur a 1.5% processing fee.

Turn Around

Our standard turn around time is 2 to 3 weeks.  If you need your job faster, please read over the Rush Orders section below before placing your order with us.  Depending on the complexity of the job, our turn around time can take longer.  If we are creating custom artwork for your apparel, this can lengthen the turn around time depending on the complexity and the amount of designs being created.  We will always work with you to accommodate your schedule and will be honest with you if we can’t complete your job by your desired date.  If this is the case, we can recommend another print we trust that possibly can produce your apparel. 

Set Up Fees: 

Set up fees are $15.00 per color. For jobs with multiple print locations, additional set up fees will apply.

Color Changes: 

If your job requires us to change colors during printing, a $10.00 fee will be charged per color change.

Ink Color: 

If you need exact color matching we can do so at an additional cost.  Otherwise, we mix and match colors as closely as possible.  Providing pantone color code will help, however we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy on colors.  If your job is dependant on exact colors, you will need to pay for exact color matching.  Please contact us for a quote on this service.

Rush Orders: 

Rush orders will incur additional charges equal to 30% of invoice total or $50.00, whichever is greater.  We consider a job a rush order if it is needed within 7 days of when the order is placed.  We cannot always schedule a rush job so you must contact us via phone or in person to discuss your job.  If you need your order PRIOR to the pick up date originally given upon placing your order, depending on the circumstance, rush fees may apply as well.  We will always do our best to accommodate, but please be up front with us upon placing your order concerning when you need your items to avoid any problems.  Please do not e-mail us information about a rush job, we might not get to the e-mail in time.

Returns/Refunds: 

No business ever plans on mistakes happening, but they do happen.  If an error has occurred in the printing or apparel used which is the fault of Tree and Leaf, a partial or full refund will be granted based on the severity of the errors.  Customer has 7 days after receipt of order to report any problems. Orders fulfilled on time and to customer specifications cannot be returned for a refund. 

Apparel Availability: 

We order all of our blank apparel from a handful of suppliers across America.  Because of this, we cannot always guarantee availability of particular styles, brands, and colors and we do not control product shortages and products being discontinued.  We will do our best to fulfill your order as requested, but in the event a shortage occurs, we will work with you to find an alternate solution.

Artwork

Every image we create is custom created and tailored to that specific job/client, we do not use design templates.  This means you get a one of a kind image for your apparel.  You should plan on investing 5 to 7 days in the design phase for us to create that special design for your print job.

All custom artwork must accompany a screen printing order. Custom artwork will be billed at $35 per hour.

Please do not bring us design work by other artists/designers without their permission.  We are happy to work with artwork from other designers, just not without their permission. 

Artwork submitted to us, with permission of outside designer, will incur a $15.00 art fee for us to breakdown the image and prep for printing.  The process to breakdown artwork for printing can take 2-3 days.

If you are submitting artwork, please provide us specific size dimensions and placement on garment so we can provide an accurate quote.

Note; we send Artwork proofs via e-mail so it is the customers’ responsibility to check the e-mail address supplied to us upon placing your order for these proofs.  During busy times, we can’t always follow up with our customers concerning their proofs.

*Our minimum for custom orders begining January 1, 2012 will be 24 pieces.
